Hong Kong’s economic has been severely affected by the by the financial tsunami over the past year and the unemployment rate has once risen to 5.4%. Despite the uncertain economic outlook, BUDA Group has neither made a layoff nor payment cut but continued to offer job opportunities to university graduates which demonstrated its corporate social responsibility in such a difficult time. Due to the insistence and hard work of the staff, it is glad to see that a slight profit growth was recorded last year. Hence, the management has decided to offer a salary increment ranging from 3% -5% to staff with good performance, which hopes to encourage staff to keep on contributing to the company. The measure has come into effect on 1st April 2010.

As it is time for the fresh graduates to enter the labor market, BUDA Group will also provides job opportunities to graduates as last year did. In response to the market conditions, we will adopt a new payment structure and the salaries in various grades are also increased. For example, the salary of a fresh graduate will be increased from about $ 10,200 to $ 13,500 with more than 30% increment. We believe that the package is sound and attractive to fresh graduates and it shows that we are confident about the economic outlook.
