Slope stability became a major issue in Hong Kong after the Kwun Lung Lau collapse in 1994. On the advice of the Geotechnical Engineering Office of the Civil Engineering Department, DH orders issued by the Hong Kong Government Buildings Department require a competent contractor to complete the survey and to submit written reports with recommendations for remedial work and specifying the use of appropriate equipment for doing inspection remedial work.
In this connection, BUDA processes the necessary equipment and Total Station facilities (CCTV, LNC, PCL, Gas Leak Detector, etc), and our team of experienced staff and proficient slope surveyors who are able to identify possible problems and defects for such inspection works.
At the completion of these surveys, BUDA will recommend the suitable remedial work in consultation with Government and our authorized surveyors. |
